Kalik Lewin represents several trade associations as general counsel, advising associations on all operational and constituent services issues. The firm has developed several trade associations in a variety of industries and its principals have served on the boards of directors of associations and as executive officers responsible for the day-to-day management of association operations.


Governance

As Counsel to both trade associations and other non-profit entities, including international fraternal organizations, Kalik Lewin has extensive experience in the formation and organization of not-for-profit entities, including entity selection, preparation of governing documents and structuring the operations of the organization.

The career experience of the principals in the management of trade associations and non-profit organizations provide a unique perspective on the role of the association in monitoring legislative developments affecting the association and its membership.
